I don't fail, I learn.

N. Mandela
Hello!

I'm Laetitia!

Since i was a child, I’ve always traveled a lot. I first move to the French overseas departments with my parents, then I went studying in Australia and in Canada, and I’ve also done a world tour across all the continents. On a professional side, I used to be a business intelligence consultant in a very small company, before joining a very big French company where I was in different roles of international team or projects management. I also like to write on topics and under various formats : from fantasy short stories to IT manuals.

Why am I telling you that?

Because there is a guiding line in that journey, and it drives me to coaching, facilitation and training. Indeed, behind all these professional and personal experiences, there are 2 shared key points : curiosity (about topics, countries, people) and the wish to help individuals and teams to reach their personal or professional goals. Then, when I left my last position, I got trained in coaching and facilitation to backup my experience with theoretical knowledge. The following step was obviously the launch of FaciliCoach.
20 years of professional experience
50 visited countries
7 different positions
In short

The ingredients of my atypical profile

International

'Jack of all trades'

Multisectors and multifunctions projects

Experience from very small to very large companies

Trainings

Being continously trained to always improve the support quality

In a job so close to Human, it is key to be continuously trained to grow and to adapt the tools to support the clients. More than the different trainings themselves, the most important part are the bridges I’m building across all these learnings. As a consequence, I often link Agile and team coaching, or coaching in skill assessments. It allows me to nourish my curiosity and to develop my uniqueness. Here are a few examples of the trainings I’ve attended in 2023:

Team Coaching

Team Coaching
This training organized by Coaching Ways was an evidence for me. It helped me validate my past experience working with numerous teams as Project Manager, Scrum Master, Facilitator… I’ve been able to challenge some of my tools and discover new ones.
Skill assessment consultant
I was looking for something to enrich my individual support offer and I’ve attended the training session organized by SunnySide API. I’ve learnt how to leverage coaching to the skills assessment while respecting the legal requirements related to that topic.
Agile @Scale
I have been Advanced Scrum Master for several years and one of the challenges is to scale Agile ways of working in big companies. There are many different approaches and I wanted first to develop an agnostic vision of what Agile at scale can look like. My objective was to be able to remain flexible to propose to my clients the best approach to their context, instead of asking my clients to adapt to an approach.
Ikigai
I’ve been trained on how to use the Ikigai in coaching by my-ikigai.ch. From its Japanese definition to its “western” implementation, this session was an opportunity for me to understand what is Ikigai an how to use it in life coaching, transition coaching or skill assessment mission.
My Values

Values are the meaning we give to life.

J-P. Sartre
Equity
Individual or company, I guarantee to each client the same level of service, engagement and professionalism to meet their needs.
Open Mind
In front of a world more and more hard to please, I guarantee to my clients an open and kind listening to understand their vision of the world and their difficulties to suggest an adapted approach.
Authenticity
Because it is key to be oneself, to know one’s own limitations, one’s strengths and weaknesses, I guarantee to my clients a relationship based on authenticity, honesty and transparency.

My convictions

Ethical vision

As a professional coach, Agile Coach or Facilitator, our collaboration will work from the trustworthy connection we will build together. As a professional coach, I apply to the code of ethics from the International Coaching Federation (ICF) which I’m part off. The most important points to me are:

  • Respect confidentiality (as defined by the legislation) : in coaching sessions, I commit to keep as confidential what we will talk about. That includes as well the GDPR in the case management. As an agile transformation support or facilitator, it can be for example your company internal data or innovative ideas coming out from the workshops.
  • Know one’s own limits: I am conscious of my personal limits or of situations which could make me uncomfortable and commit to ask for external help (such as supervision) if needed.

ICF

The word “Coach” is used in many different contexts (sport, house ordering…). On my side I am a Professional Coach according to the French “Registre National des Certifications Professionnelles”. But how to find one’s way with all these different types of coaches? The International Coaching Federation is an association grouping professional coaches around the world. They work on the promotion of the job, define best in class standards (the 8 competencies), implements a certifying process and a professional code of ethics. By joining that federation I want to demonstrate my support to their values, rules and actions.

My social and environmental committment

I am convinced that every action counts. Then, even if we are a very small company, it is possible to implement actions to support social and environmental causes. FaciliCoach is a regular donator to association working in the health area (Ligne nationale contre le cancer), in the animal protection (Zoo-Refuge La Tanière) and in the social support (Restos du Coeur). Donation is good but it is only the visible part of the iceberg!

To go further, I have decided to :

  • Select business card on recycled paper
  • Require in the specifications for this website to be rated 1 on the ecoindex which measures the environmental impact of websites.
  • Regularly clean up my mailbox.
  • Encourage circular economy by buying second hand reference books and by selling them when I don’t need them anymore
  • Prefer train over car
  • Sharing my expertise at no cost to support people through dedicated associations (Second Souffle, Coach Around The World) There are many things that I could do better or differently but I have the feeling to contribute, at my own scale, to a better world.
