EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
This training provides an introduction to project management through two approaches: the traditional “waterfall” method as defined by the Project Management Institute, and the Scrum Agile approach as defined by Scrum Alliance. It aims to:
- Master the vocabulary of both approaches
- Understand the 8 domains of project management
- Learn about the waterfall project management approach
- Learn about the Agile Scrum project management approach
- Understand the similarities and differences between Agile Scrum and traditional approaches
- Experience an accelerated Agile Scrum project
- Experience an accelerated traditional project
TARGET AUDIENCE
New project managers who are about to take charge of a project and have the opportunity to choose their approach.
